When was the last time you allowed yourself the luxury of slowing down? Watching the sunset without thinking about capturing the perfect Instagram shot, sipping a glass of wine without checking your emails, waking up on a Saturday morning without an alarm?
In a world obsessed with speed, slow time has become the true luxury of today. A luxury that, in the Langhe, is still part of everyday life.

Time: the ultimate luxury experience in the Langhe
Nowadays, we consider it a privilege to be unreachable, to disconnect, to focus on just one thing at a time. Privilege is being able to say, “this takes time,” without it sounding like an excuse.
In our vineyards, this privilege is the norm. Here, time is not something to fight against; it is respected, transformed into quality. I learned this firsthand in my early years at the winery, when I tried to speed up certain processes to achieve quicker results.
I soon realized that nature has its own immutable rhythms. “You can’t dictate time to nature” is a truth I had to grasp through experience. Every time the weather suddenly shifts or a vintage turns out to be challenging, this lesson comes back to guide me.
In recent years, we have completely rethought how we tell our story. It wasn’t just about updating the brand’s look—it was about finding a language that truly expresses our philosophy. The rebranding process has been a journey of rediscovery, a return to what really matters.
The new website is the latest step in this journey. It is an invitation to rediscover the forgotten art of waiting.
Waiting: the transformation we don’t see
We all know that feeling of conscious anticipation, the moment before something good happens.
It’s the same when you choose a Barolo and set it aside in your cellar, waiting for a special occasion—an anniversary, the birth of a child, a major achievement. You know that, month after month, that wine is evolving, growing in complexity and depth. The moment you finally uncork it and pour the first glass holds a completely different meaning.
“Time is the one ingredient I can’t control, yet it makes all the difference in wine.”
The same is true in life: the best experiences are not instant but those that have been given time to mature.

Why have we lost the pleasure of waiting?
We live in an era of instant gratification. We order things that arrive the same day, binge-watch entire seasons of TV shows over a weekend, expect immediate replies to our messages.
But what are we losing in the process? The joy of waiting for a letter to arrive? The pleasure of watching a movie once a week, having seven days to reflect on it? The thrill of a relationship that unfolds slowly?
Wine is one of the few products that still resists this frenzy. You can’t rush it. It follows its own time, from the vineyard to the bottle.

A few ways to rediscover the true meaning of luxury
When redesigning our online presence, we wanted to transform the philosophy behind our work into a sharable experience, conveying what waiting truly means to us.
Here are a few ideas, inspired by our new website, that you can apply to your own life:
Practice mindful attention: Dedicate time to a single activity, free from distractions. In the cellar, I do this every time I taste a vintage—I focus, block out everything else, and listen to what the wine is telling me.
Rediscover rituals: From brewing coffee to opening a special bottle of wine. I have my own: before every harvest, I walk alone through the vineyards at dawn, touching the grapes, feeling their texture, imagining what they will become.
Grow something: Watching a plant grow reconnects us with nature’s rhythms. In our estate, we nurture young vines in a dedicated nursery—a small space where we observe barbatelle as they grow, before they become part of our vineyards. It’s a daily exercise in patience, just like wine that awaits its time.
Celebrate the seasons: Each time of year has its own flavors, its own colors. In the Langhe, autumn means truffles and mist rolling over the hills, winter is the vineyard’s time of rest, spring is the miracle of budding vines, and summer bursts with life.

Transformative luxury experiences
One of the most exciting sections of our new website is dedicated to the experiences we offer our visitors—true journeys through time:
- The Gold Wine Experience lets you taste five historic vintages of Barolo, from 1978 to 2018, spanning almost half a century of history, climate, and human decisions.
- Adopt a Row invites you to form a deep connection with a piece of land, following its evolution season after season, harvest after harvest.
- The Wine & Truffle Experience immerses you in the ancient tradition of truffle hunting—an art that requires patience, intuition, and a deep bond with nature.
Each of these experiences is an invitation to slow down, to create that space the Japanese call “ma”—the pause that gives meaning to things.
A concept that guides every decision we make, and that has found new strength with the entry of Brave Wine, the winemaking holding founded by Renzo Rosso. This partnership has brought fresh resources and perspectives while preserving our philosophy of slow time, reinforcing our commitment to quality and sustainability.

A personal invitation
The launch of our new website is an opportunity to extend an invitation: to rediscover the beauty of slow time together.
We invite you to explore it—not just as a showcase of our wines but as a gateway to a philosophy of life. To read the stories it tells, immerse yourself in the images that capture moments of beauty, and let yourself be inspired.
But above all, we invite you to bring this philosophy into your everyday life. To carve out moments of slow time, to embrace conscious waiting, to experience authentic connections with the world around you.
True luxury today is not about having everything instantly. It’s about waiting for something truly worth the wait.
I look forward to seeing you,
Sara.
