This is the finest vineyard, in terms of exposure, altitude and soil characteristics, owned by our estate. It is located in Monforte d’Alba and we consider it special especially because of the exceptional terroir, which produces a wine with a strong personality and really long life. Ideal for wine lovers who want to get to know and produce a wine of excellence.

The adoption of a row of vines in the Millenovecento48 vineyard, the vineyard planted by Ernesto Saffirio in 1948 where we now grow the grapes used to make our Barolo Riserva DOCG, is the ideal project for those who want to experience the production of an absolutely unique and powerful wine.

– a name plate installed in the row of vines adopted in our vineyards in Castelletto di Monforte d’Alba;
– an adoption certificate and welcome letter;
– a regular newsletter written by the winery team containing all updates and invitations to exclusive events;
– free participation in the events organised during the year of adoption, including the harvesting of the grapes of your row of vines;
– free membership of the “I filari” wine club with access to promotions and dedicated offers;
– free visit and tasting for two people upon reservation;
– 6 bottles of Barolo DOCG made from grapes harvested in the vineyard where you have adopted a row of vines;
– possibility to customise your Barolo DOCG labels.

To take advantage of your benefits (discounts, experiences, cellar visits, etc.) linked to your chosen project, please contact us so we can organise them.
Also remember to read our e-mails to keep up to date.

Every adoption includes a few bottles of Barolo, depending on the option chosen.
– You can choose to collect the bottles of Barolo immediately, receiving the vintage of Barolo currently on sale, or you can choose to wait and receive the Barolo of the vintage in which you adopted your row of vines.
In the latter case, your Barolo will be ready for collection 38 months from the harvest date.

You can adopt one or more rows of vines either in your own name or that of a third party, making a welcome and original gift. After making the payment, you will receive a personalised Adoption Certificate for each row of vines adopted along with a letter welcoming you to the project.

If you have chosen to give the project as a gift to someone else, when filling in the purchase form, you will be asked for the recipient’s details and their personal email address in order to keep them constantly updated on the row of vines adopted, send them notices of dedicated events and their membership of the Wine Club.After payment (online by credit card or by bank transfer) you will receive the Adoption Certificate with the name of the recipient and a Welcome Letter describing the project.

If you have decided to give the project as a gift, you can register the row of vines adopted in the name of up to two people.

Within 2-3 of completing the payment, you will receive a personalised Adoption Certificate for each row of vines adopted.
You will receive an e-mail inviting you to join the “I filari” Wine Club community, enabling you to take advantage of important privileges.
In addition, you will receive regular newsletters updating you on the progress of your row of vines and on activities in the vineyard and cellar.

You can send an e-mail to info@adottaunfilare.com indicating the name of the adopter and attaching a copy of the receipt for payment. The cost for the second and subsequent years of adoption is 350 euros.

We will immediately send you the new Adoption Certificate and you can pick up the bottles included with your new adoption.

Adopt a row of vines in Vigna Persiera

It’s the name of a vineyard. One of the finest vineyards in terms of exposure-altitude and soil characteristics owned by our estate. It is located in Monforte d’Alba, about 450m above sea level, and is about 0.7 hectares in size. Here we grow the grapes for our Barolo DOCG Persiera, which we bottle mainly in Magnums (1.5 L) with customised handwritten labels.

A combination of several factors known as terroir: the soil, the microclimate and attention in the cellar that enhances the expression of this vineyard. It is a remarkable terroir that gives rise to an extremely elegant wine with a strong personality.

– an adoption certificate and welcome letter;

Adopt a row of vines in Vigna Millenovecento48

The vineyard is located in Castelletto di Monforte d’Alba, next to the old Saffirio-Vezza family winery.

Thanks to its easterly exposure and calcareous silt soil, it is able to produce wines with great structure. Its age also has a positive effect on the quality of the grapes because the root system of the plants is very well developed and deep.
